Mallard is the age of steam in a tap, named after the world’s most beautiful slip-steamed train of all time it sums up an age of boiling hot pipes and the noise of the shipyard whistle going off. It’s cylindrical tubed look is coupled with beautiful four spoke hand wheels and ceramic indices. The range was originally designed in the 80s by bathroom innovator John Hart and he would be happy that it looks as quirky as if did even if an internal facelift has bought it into the modern world. Now quarter turn and with a host of other minor changes Mallard is both reliable and functional and will set off your traditional bathroom from almost any fashionable era or themed bathroom. It is as much Deco as it is steampunk, as much Jules Verne as it is Gaudi, the perfect design for somebody who wants something a little different.
